Ece Haskan

Ece Haskan was born in 1997 in Istanbul and aims to question the perception of reality with their paintings. The artist paints an allegory of the absurd expression of daily life with surreal elements, in an unknown dimension of a fantasy world they describe as 'Nowhere'. With their choice of color, the artist opens the doors of a new reality, far from reality and the gray tones of the city.

Working as an illustrator since 2017, Haskan has taken place in many local and international group exhibitions. In 2023, one of their works was selected and exhibited for the Cheltenham Illustration.

Awards & Annual in the UK. The artist continues working in their atelier in Istanbul.
